In our first collection of classic Stillman fire fighting films we showed you how firefighters in the 20th century battled blazes in New York, Boston and London.

Due to the incredible popularity of our first collection of classic fire clips, we have now scoured our archives and come up with even more vintage films showing the power of fire and the incredible bravery of the men who fought to keep it under control!

In New York City there is a long history of brave men and women who dedicate their lives to making sure that fires are quickly brought under control. In this fascinating DVD you will see exactly how New York's Bravest fought fires in the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s.

These films show how brave these men were as they battled to keep their friends and neighbors safe, often while risking their own lives in the process.

Stillman Fires Collection: Flitful Flashes Of First Alarms
Our next film tells us how fire calls are received before we go into the real meat and potato work of firemen's duties, minor fires - and boy what fires they are! Bus fires! Paper truck fires! Bedroom fires! But wait! It's not just fires! We also see firemen dealing with ammonia leaks (by putting on deep sea helmets) and in one of the strangest scenes, what APPEARS to be a horse carcass in a manhole.
