History of World War II - The American Soldier (2-DVD Set)

Witness a fascinating insight into the lives of American soldiers during World War II. Join them on a train journey to a secret destination. See how loose lips literally sink a ship!

While the loss in terms of material used and destroyed during World War II cannot be gauged with any degree of accuracy, the statistics on manpower are pretty accurate. Of the 16, 353, 659 American men who enlisted, 292,131 were killed in battle, 671,801 succumbed to wounds, and 115,187 were victims of unknown causes, while 139, 709 were captured or reported missing.
